The CONTAI PPC-1701 is a 17-inch fanless industrial panel PC built for embedded mounting in demanding automation environments. A high-precision die-cast aluminium chassis, an ultra-thin bezel and a flat brushed front panel combine to reach IP65 dust and water protection, while the fully enclosed fanless design keeps the unit silent and maintenance-free for round-the-clock operation.
At its heart is a self-developed industrial-grade x86 motherboard with an Intel Celeron J6412 quad-core processor at 2.0 GHz with a 2.6 GHz burst, 8 GB of DDR4 memory and a 256 GB solid-state drive. The 17-inch TFT LCD offers a 5:4 1280 x 1024 image at 300 cd/m2 with a 1000:1 contrast ratio and 85/85/80/70 viewing angles, and the 10-point projected capacitive touchscreen accepts fingers, gloves and styli. A wide 12-36V DC input and EMC-compliant circuitry ensure stable operation around heavy electrical equipment.
