Product Overview
The Fl Series Connectors are designed for board-to-cable applications, offering a low-profile SMT type board-mount receptacle. They are suitable for thin devices with single-row types and high-density packaging with double-row types, featuring a staggered contact arrangement. These connectors provide excellent EMI shielding effects when equipped with a metallic shell. Key features include a hold-down for preventing float-up during soldering and ensuring ground connection, and cable side plugs available in discrete wire crimp, cable harness, and ZIF types for FPC applications. The ZIF configuration allows for zero insertion force, making operation easy. Options for one-row receptacles and FPC plugs include standard and reverse types, supporting both face and back mounting. Keying and friction locks are incorporated for preventing erroneous mating and ensuring secure connection. Receptacles can be supplied in embossed tape for automatic mounting.
