Product Overview
The DF11 Series is a 2.0mm pitch, double-row connector compliant with UL/CSA standards. It is designed for reliable wire-to-board and board-to-board connections.
Key Features & Precautions:
- Soldering Condition (SMT): Recommended soldering iron temperature: 290 10C, soldering time: Within 2 seconds. Recommended screen thickness: 0.15 to 0.2mm. Board warpage: Max. 0.03mm allowed in the connector center area based on both connector edges.
- Soldering Condition (Through-hole): Recommended flow soldering: 250C for 10 seconds. Manual soldering: Soldering iron temperature 290 10C for 2 seconds.
- Cleaning & Connection: Refer to the "Wire-to-Board Connector Use Handbook".
- Precautions: Do not insert crimp terminals diagonally into IDC sockets. Avoid insertion/removal when not mounted to the board to prevent damage. Do not hold the cable when removing the product. Avoid flux rising during hand soldering. Mold coloration may vary but does not affect performance.
- Handling Instructions: Refer to "Crimp Quality Standard", "Cable Assembly Procedure", and "Wire-to-Board Connector Use Handbook".
- General Notes: Specifications are reference values; confirm "Drawing" and "Product Specifications" sheets before ordering/use. Use appropriate cables; contact sales for non-specified cables. Assembly with non-Hirose identified jigs & tools voids assurance. Consult sales for specific applications (Automotive, medical, public infrastructure, aerospace/defense).

Applicable Cables:
- Cables applicable are tin-plated stranded soft-copper wire.
- Avoid crimping solid wire, wires with polyester threads, tin-coated wires, or two cables together.
- Crimp height settings may vary between tin-plated and gold-plated terminals, and depending on core wire configuration.
