The SG3525 is a versatile PWM control chip designed for all types of switching power supplies, offering improved performance and reduced external component count. Key features include a precise 5.1V 1% reference voltage, operation in master/slave or synchronized modes, and adjustable dead-time control via an external resistor. The integrated circuitry includes soft-start, shutdown, and undervoltage lockout functions. The output stage is a high-power totem-pole design capable of sourcing and sinking over 200mA.
