Product Overview
The WS2812 is an intelligent control LED light source that integrates a control circuit and RGB chip within a 5050 component package, forming a complete control pixel point. It features a built-in signal reshaping circuit to prevent waveform distortion accumulation and includes electric reset and power loss reset circuits. Each primary color pixel offers 256 brightness levels, enabling a full-color display of 16,777,216 colors with a scan frequency of at least 400Hz/s. The signal is transmitted via a single line, with a cascading port. Distances of over 5 meters between any two points do not require an additional increase circuit. In low-speed mode, it supports cascading of not less than 512 points, and in high-speed mode, not less than 1024 points, with data transmission speeds of 800Kbps. The WS2812 offers highly consistent color and cost-effectiveness, making it suitable for full-color modules, LED decorative lighting, and indoor/outdoor LED video irregular screens. Its integrated design simplifies circuits, reduces volume, and facilitates installation, while the LED itself provides low driving voltage, environmental protection, energy saving, high brightness, a large scattering angle, good consistency, low power consumption, and a long lifespan.
