Product Overview
The U.FL series offers compact coaxial cable assemblies designed for high-frequency applications. These assemblies are suitable for various electronic devices requiring reliable signal transmission up to 6GHz. They come in both double-ended and single-ended configurations with different coaxial cable diameters and colors.
Usage Precautions:
- Mating/Unmating: Use the end portion of specific U.FL connectors to disconnect by pulling vertically. Align mating axes and push until a "click" confirms connection. Avoid extreme angles during mating.
- Cable Pull Forces: Do not exceed specified pull force limits on the cable after connectors are mated to prevent damage.
- Wire Handling: Do not forcefully twist or deform wires.
- Receptacle Soldering: Recommended reflow temperature profile with a maximum surface temperature of 250C for 10 seconds. Manual soldering at 350C for 5 seconds is also supported. Recommended metal mask thickness is 0.1-0.12 mm. Reflow cycles should be limited to 2 times.
- Operating Environment: Avoid environments with excessive fine particles, dust, corrosive gases (sulfur dioxide, hydrogen sulfide, nitrogen dioxide), and large rapid temperature variations.
- Storage Conditions: Store receptacles in Hirose Electric packaging at -10 to +40C and 85% humidity max. Use within 6 months of delivery. Test solderability if the storage period has elapsed.
