Product Overview
The ZX Series Micro-USB connectors meet the requirements of the USB 2.0 Standard, offering high-speed data transfer of 480 Mbps. These extremely small, highly reliable connectors comply with the physical, electrical, and environmental requirements of the Micro-USB standard. Available in a wide variety of mounting and termination styles for receptacles and plugs, they are suitable for various applications. Key features include size reduction (approximately 60% smaller than standard Mini-USB connectors), multiple interface configurations (Micro-B, Micro-AB, Micro-A), SMT and through-hole terminations, and a unique Hirose active latch mechanism for smooth mating/unmating, enhanced durability, and a reliable click sensation. Hirose was the first company to obtain a Micro-USB certification (TID number).
