ZX Series Micro-USB Connectors
Extremely small, highly reliable connectors complying with the physical, electrical, and environmental requirements of the Micro-USB standard (USB 2.0). The ZX Series offers receptacles and plugs in a wide variety of mounting and termination styles, allowing their use in various applications.
Key Features:
- Size Reduction: Approximately 60% smaller than standard Mini-USB connectors, supporting high-speed data transfer of 480 Mbps (USB 2.0).
- Receptacle Styles: Available in Micro-B and Micro-AB interface configurations with standard, mid-mount, and reverse mounting styles. SMT and through-hole PC board terminations are offered.
- Plug Styles: Corresponding to receptacle styles, available in Micro-A and Micro-B interfaces with direct wire or PCB wire soldering. Suitable for data transmission, earphone, or charging applications.
- Smooth Mating and Unmating: Features a unique Hirose active latch mechanism for reliable and durable connections with a smooth click sensation, even after repeated use (when using both Hirose plug and receptacles).
- Certification: Hirose was the first company to obtain a Micro-USB certification (TID number).
