ERmet B8 - CompactPCI Express Connectors
The ERmet B8 connectors are designed for CompactPCI Express systems, bringing PCI Express technology to the popular PICMG 2.0 CompactPCI form factor. They maintain compatibility with existing CompactPCI hardware and software. These connectors are part of a complete family of CompactPCI connectors from ERNI, including ERmet ZD and ERmet Power Module. The ERmet B8 is an enriched hard metric (eHM) connector used for I/O signals and some power. It features keying with four possible combinations, all supporting Hot Swap functions. Available as a 56-pin male connector (40 signal contacts and 16 shield blades) and a 40-pin female connector, it ensures reliable mating.
