Product Overview

V-Bite PC Edge Mount connectors are an industry award-winning PCB connector design that offers a low profile and minimal PCB real estate usage. They are suitable for surface mount and through-hole soldering techniques, with versions available for IR and convection reflow soldering. The unique design locks into place both above and below the PCB, dispersing rotational torque relief to the board and not the solder points. The V-Bite design also achieves the lowest VSWR ratings due to its straight through-put contact design, avoiding reflections from right angles. Available in 50 and 75 ohm impedance, with threaded and non-threaded options, and variations for different PCB thicknesses and interfaces.
