Product Overview
The D.FL75 Series75Q Micro Coaxial Connector is designed to support 12G-SDI applications. It offers a robust solution for high-speed digital video transmission.
Usage Precautions
1. Plugs: Mating/Unmating
- Disconnecting: Insert the extraction tool (D.FL75-LP-N) under the connector flange and pull perpendicularly along the mating axis. Avoid pulling the cable, as this can damage connector performance.
- Mating: Align the mating axes of the receptacle and cable assembly, then insert the cable assembly perpendicularly downwards. Do not insert at a slanted angle.
2. Tolerable Load to a Cable After Mating
- Do not apply forces exceeding specified values after mating to prevent disconnection or deformation.
- Avoid lifting the cable after the plug is mated to prevent the plug from coming off.
- Pay attention to wiring that can bend the cable.
- For short products ( 100mm) or when axial load/movement (e.g., bending during laying) is expected, it is recommended to press a cushion material ( 10N) against the back of the plug after mating to avoid characteristic fluctuation and disconnection.
3. Precautions
- Do not use excessive prying force to mate or un-mate connectors, as this may lead to damage.
Receptacles: Recommended Reflow Temperature Profile
Lead-free paste solder temperature profile (reference):
- Preheating time: less than 60 sec.
- Soldering time: less than 50 sec.
- Peak temperature: below 250C for less than 10 seconds.
Notes:
- Temperatures are measured at the surface of the printed circuit board near the terminal contact points.
- Reflow soldering should be performed at a maximum temperature of 250C or less.
- The temperature profile may vary based on external mounting conditions (solder paste, manufacturer, PCB size, etc.).
Operating Environment and Storage Conditions
Operation Environment:
- Designed for normal environments. Use in environments with excessive fine particles/dust, high concentrations of gases (sulfur dioxide, hydrogen sulfide, nitrogen dioxide), or drastic temperature changes may cause discoloration and degradation.
Storage Conditions:
- Store in Hirose's packaging or similar conditions.
- Temperature: -10 to +40C
- Humidity: 85% or less (recommended)
- Recommended use within six months from delivery. Products stored beyond this period require testing for mounting and solderability before use.
