The HD-102 Porosity Detector is a professional non-destructive testing instrument designed to detect coating flaws, pinholes, and thin spots in protective coatings applied to metal and concrete surfaces for corrosion prevention.
Working Principle
The detector generates high DC voltage (600V-8000V) applied to coating surfaces through a probe. When the probe passes over coating flaws, the electrical circuit completes, triggering audible and visual alarms while potentially producing sparks at the defect location.
