Working principle of electric actuator: In gear stage, the engine speed can be transmitted to the output rod through two sets of gears. The main reducer is accomplished by a planetary gear and the secondary reducer by a worm gear, which is held in a central position by a set of taut springs. In the case of overload, that is, when the output rod exceeds the set torque of the spring, the worm gear will have axial displacement, fine tuning of the switch and signal device, and the electric actuator provides protection for the system. The output lever is coupled to the worm gear during engine operation and to the hand wheel during manual operation, thanks to coupling operated by an external variable control lever. When the engine is not working, the electric actuator can easily disconnect the motor drive, and the handwheel can be connected by pressing the lever. Since motor drive takes precedence over manual operation, the reverse action automatically occurs when the engine is started again. This eliminates the need to turn on the hand wheel while the engine is running, helping to protect the system.
