Aluminum 6060 is similar with 6063, both have lower strength properties than aluminum 6061 making it suitable for architectural applications or air compressed piping system where high strength is not required.
Aluminum 6061 is a structural alloy that provides excellent weldability and medium-to-high strength properties. As an anodized metal, it can also be heat treated to improve corrosion resistance, making it a versatile aluminum alloy.
