1, Drill pipe body raw material

Drill pipe body and tools joint raw material are high-performance alloy steel according with API standard and strictly checked by chemical content, metallographic structure,geometric dimension,NDT tests,etc to ensure the stable quality of the product.

2,Process of drill pipe body

Pipe end is upsetted by National Oil Well equipment with 1250 tons weight. The upsetted area is more thicker, no wrinkle and longer smooth transition zone from upset to normal thickness area. Pipe body heat treatment is processed by over-type automatic heat treatment furnace and straightening machine with whole course hardness test and Ultrasonic inspection.

3,Process of friction welding

Friction welding is processed by MTI equipment for the pipe body and joint,automatically finished by computer control,and the after welding process such as welding area heat treatment, inner and outside grinding,magnetic particle inspection may guarantee high quality of finished product.

4,Tensile performance parameters

API Steel Grade: E-75

Yield strength min: 75,000 Psi~ 517Mpa

Yield strength Max: 105,000 Psi~ 724Mpa

Tensile strength min: 100,000Psi -- 689Mpa
