Application of Test Probe 41 of IEC 61032:

Test probe 41 of IEC 61032 is applied with a force not exceeding 1 N to live parts of visibly glowing heating elements, all poles of which can be disconnected by a single switching action. It is also applied to parts supporting such elements, provided that it is obvious from the outside of the appliance, without removing covers and similar parts, that these supporting parts are in contact with the element.

This probe is intended to verify the protection against access to glowing heating elements.
