IEC 60884-1: 2022 Plugs and socket-outlets for household and similar purposes -Part 1: General requirements clause 24.8 and figure 31;

 

The Apparatus for abrasion test on insulating sleeves of plug is designed to evaluate the wear resistance and reliability of the insulation sheath on plugs. It meets the standard requirements of IEC 60884-1 Figure 28 and BS 1363 Figure 9. The tester can simulate the wear conditions that plugs may encounter during use through various test conditions and parameters.
