Applicable Standards

• Complies with UL94, IEC60695 - 11 - 2, IEC60695 - 11 - 3, IEC60695 - 11 - 4, IEC60695 - 11 - 10, IEC60695 - 11 - 20 and other standards.

Application Range

• Used to simulate the influence of the initial flame in a fire around electronic products and judge the ignition hazard degree. It is mainly used for testing non-metallic materials such as plastics and solid materials, and is also applicable for horizontal and vertical flammability testing of foam plastics with a density of not less than 250kg/m³ according to the ISO845 test method.

Test Sample Requirements

• Samples without coloring, with the highest level of organic pigments, with the highest level of inorganic pigments, and with pigments known to have an adverse effect on flammability need to be tested. If the flame test classifications of the test results are the same, they can be considered representative of the color range; if different, the materials with extreme density, melt flow, and filler/reinforcement content need to be evaluated, and samples with intermediate content need to be tested to determine the representative range.
