This equipment is designed based on the standard IEC60335-2-2 Household and similar electrical appliances – Safety – Part 2-2: Particular requirements for vacuum cleaners and water-suction cleaning appliances clause 21.101. Its main purpose is to test the crushing resistance of current-carrying hoses.

During the testing process, the current-carrying hose is placed between the upper and lower pressure plates of the equipment. The pressure plates have a length of 100mm, a width of 50mm, and the long side is rounded with a radius of R1mm. The hose axis is perpendicular to the long side of the pressure plate, and one end is approximately 350mm away from the edge of the pressure plate. Once the equipment is started, the upper pressure plate compresses the current-carrying hose at a speed of 50 ± 5mm/min until the pressure reaches 1.5kN, and then the pressure is released. Subsequently, the hose undergoes an electrical strength test.
