The Home Appliance Current-Carrying Hoses Flexing Resistance Tester is designed in accordance with IEC60335-2-2 Household and similar electrical appliances – Safety – Part 2-2: Particular requirements for vacuum cleaners and water-suction cleaning appliances clause 21.103 and Figure 102. Its main purpose is to determine the flexing resistance of current-carrying hoses used in household appliances.

Sample Range

This tester is applicable to test samples such as vacuum cleaner tubes, suction cleaner tubes, and washing machine water pipes.

Structure and Function

The tester is structured in a bending machine form. It utilizes PLC control and touch screen operation, enabling the presetting of bending angles and rates. The test automatically stops when the set number of cycles is reached. During the test, the pivot arm of the hose's end fixed device is placed on the pivot arm shaft with a specific distance from the hose's entry point into the rigid part. A 5kg weight is hung on the other end of the hose, which can slide along the weight slide. The hose is bent from the level to 40°±1° for 2500 cycles and then turned 90° to repeat the test for another 2500 cycles. Afterward, an electrical strength test of the sample is conducted.
