During this additional test the accessories are subjected for 1 min to a force of 75 N, applied through the tip of a straight unjointed test finger, test probe 11 of IEC 61032. This finger with an electrical indicator as described above is applied to all places where yielding of insulating material could impair the safety of the accessory, but is not applied to membranes or the like and is applied to thin-walled knock-outs but with a force of 10 N.                         Plug Socket Tester
During this test, accessories, with their associated mounting means, shall not deform to such an extent that those dimensions shown in the relevant standard sheets which ensure safety are unduly altered and no live parts shall be accessible.
