During the test, the temperature rise of surfaces shall not exceed the values specified in Table 103.

If the oven door is protected by a guard, the temperature rise limits in Table 103 specified for the front surface of oven doors apply to the guard. However, if the guard is a detachable guard the temperature rise limits in Table 103 specified for other surfaces apply to parts of
the oven door protected by the guard.               Test Finger Probe
For ovens intended to be used on a working surface the temperature rise limits in the relevant Table 103 specified for parts situated more than 850 mm above the floor apply.

If the oven can be used for grilling and the instructions state that for grilling the door should be closed, the test is repeated but with the oven operating in the grilling mode with the controls set according to the instructions. The grill is operated for 30 min in accordance with 11.7.103. However, if the oven has a rotating spit, the duration of the test is 60 min, with the controls set to give the most unfavourable conditions specified in the instructions. The measurements are only carried out on surfaces for which temperature rises for the front surface of oven doors apply.                     Test Finger Probe
