Maeser-type leather water resistance tester apply to all flexiable leather especially for footwear upper leather. a piece of sample 101.6mmX101.6mm or 114mmX114mm folded and fixed with two V-shaped clamps, so its form a trough, then the trough immersed into the water. one end clamp flexing with specify speed repeatlly. test will stoped at the first sign of water penetration through specimen and it is detected by electrode.
