What is a Floor Buffer?
A floor buffer is an industrial cleaning device that allows cleaning professionals to strip or remove wax from a facility's floors.
The Floor Standing Machine Buffer is often referred to as a stripper, rocker or side-to-side machine.
Depending on the floor mat applied to the machine, bumpers can also be used to polish, clean or scrub your facility's floors to remove dirt and scuff marks and restore their original luster.
The buffer runs at a low speed of 175 - 300 RPM to perform a specific cleaning procedure.
The bumper is placed directly on the mat, creating 100% contact between the floor and the mat. The machine is not supported by the rear wheels, which are intended for transport only.
To maneuver, the operator has full control of it moving side to side, hence the nickname "side-to-side" machine.
