3.17 mm NiAl80/20 Thermal Spray Wire for Arc Spray Applications - 50-60 psi Air Pressure, 100-200A Range
3.17 mm NiAl80/20 thermal spray wire is specifically designed for arc spray applications to enhance the adhesion of top coatings. This nickel-clad aluminum exothermic coating powder provides high substrate strength and is primarily used for spraying primer coatings with excellent oxidation resistance.
This material serves as both a bond coat for subsequent thermal spray topcoats and as a one-step buildup material for dimensional restoration of aircraft engines. It demonstrates:
- Excellent resistance to high temperature oxidation and abrasion
- Superior impact and bending resistance
- Strong metallurgical bonding with various substrates including carbon steel, alloy steel, stainless steel, cast iron, nickel, titanium, and nickel-chromium alloys
| Element | Content (wt%) |
