Characteristic of 100Cr6/1.3505 material:
Bearing steel has high and uniform hardness and wear resistance as well as high elastic limit. Bearing steel is one of the most stringent steels in all steel production because of its strict requirements on the uniformity of chemical composition, the content and distribution of non-metallic inclusions, and the distribution of carbides. In 1976, ISO of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) incorporated some general bearing steel numbers into the international standards, and divided the bearing steel into four categories: fully hardened bearing steel, surface hardened bearing steel, stainless bearing steel, high temperature bearing steel and a total of 17 steel grades.
Application:Used for making various bearing rings and rollers.

Delivery condition:
Soft annealing:
Heat to 760-800 ℃,cool slowly in furnace.This will produce a maxium Brinell hardness of 207.
Stress Relieving:
Stress relieving to remove machining stresses should be carried out by heating to 650 ℃,holding
for one hour at heat, followed by air cooling.This operation is performed to reduce distorition during
heat treatment.
Hardening:
Harden from a temperature of 830-870 ℃ followed by oil quenching.Hardness after quenching is
64 HRC.
Tempering:
Tempering temperaure 150-180 ℃.
Forging:
Hot forming temerature:1200-926 ℃
