Keyhole fender
Keyhole fenders are used worldwide and they handled the most demanding tug operations. They offer very reliable protection for the bow/stern of tugboats or for wall of quay. They have a keyhole-shaped hollow on the inside, hence, the name “keyhole fenders”. These fenders are abrasion-resistant, strong and highly resistant to UV rays, too. The two mounting holes enables simple installation. Either a flat surface or a grooved surface is available depending on situation, or specifically, the friction and grip required.
The keyhole fenders have optional smooth or grooved faces to suit different friction requirements, and can be fitted with low-friction UHMW-PE face pads for tough seas. As well as tugs. They are commonly fitted to pilling and similar structures to form a simple, reliable protective surface.
