PSA (Pressure Swing Adsorption) Technology is a revolution in Non-Cryogenic Air Separation and Oxygen Generation Technology that uses a special grade of ZMS (Zeolite Molecular Sieve).
The compressed air is passed through a Twin Tower PSA module interconnected with automatic changeover valves. After passing through a Refrigerated Dryer, air gets dried. Dried compressed air then comes in contact with the bed of Zeolite molecular sieves (ZMS), which preferentially adsorb nitrogen molecules.
While one tower remains under the nitrogen production cycle, the other tower undergoes regeneration through depressurization to atmospheric pressure. The outgoing oxygen gas is sent to a surge vessel where minimum pressure is maintained with a Backpressure Regulator.
