Operating Principle
The PSA Nitrogen Generator uses carbon molecular sieve as sorbent to produce nitrogen through Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) technology. Under specific pressure conditions, the carbon molecular sieve exhibits different adsorption capacities for oxygen and nitrogen, with significantly higher oxygen adsorption capacity than nitrogen. A PLC controls pneumatic valves to alternate between two towers for adsorption and desorption based on pressure changes, achieving oxygen/nitrogen separation to produce nitrogen at desired purity levels.
