The MPO connector is a multi-fiber connector type designed for high-density environments. MPO (Multi-Fiber Push On) connectors are primarily used in data centers, fiber-to-the-building applications, and internal connections within optical transceiver equipment supporting 40G, 100G, and QSFP+ technologies.
MPO connector types are distinguished according to IEC 61754-7 regulations by core numbers, gender (Male/Female), and polarity (PC or APC).
24F-144F MPO/MTP trunk cables are terminated with MPO/MTP connectors on both ends. These cables connect MPO/MTP modules together as permanent links and are available with 12, 24, 48, 60, 72, 96, and 144 fibers, supporting speeds up to 10/40/100Gbps data center solutions.
