Introduction

Optical fibres are housed in a loose tube that is made of high-modulus plastic and filled with tube fulling compound. The tube is armored with a layer of glass fiber tapes as the strength member. Then a LSZH sheath is extruded.
In the distribution segment of optical cable networks in rural areas, the cable can be used as drop cables for self-supporting aerial installation to connect branching points with access points for subscribers.

Product Series

The Product Series for fiber optic cables is segmented into three categories: Feeder, Distribution, and Drop segments. Below is a breakdown of the different cable types within each segment:

• Feeder Segment:

These cables are typically used for long-distance communication, often deployed in outdoor environments.

GYTA/GYTS: Stranded Loose Tube cables. These cables are designed for high-performance communication with multiple fibers in a loose tube configuration for added protection and flexibility.

 

Each of these product types serves different purposes within fiber optic networks, from long-distance backbone transmission to distribution and drop connections closer to the user.

• Drop Segment:

These are commonly used for the final connection from a distribution point to the end-user, typically in homes or buildings.

GJXH: Bow-type drop cable. This type of cable has a robust design with steel wire strength members and is typically used for short-distance installations.

• Distribution Segment:

These cables are used for connecting from the feeder network to the end-user network or for intermediate connections.

GYAXZY: Uni-tube Aramid LSZH Sheath. This cable uses a single tube configuration and features an Aramid strength member with a Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) sheath, making it safe and environmentally friendly. GYGXZY: Uni-tube Glass Yarn PE Sheath. Similar to the above, but with a Glass Yarn strength member and a Polyethylene (PE) sheath, providing a different kind of protection and durability. GTJGA: Slotted TBF APL CSM. A more specific type of cable with a slotted core, designed for high-density and long-distance distribution. GYFXBY: Flat-shape & Self-supporting Uni-tube. A flat-shaped design with a self-supporting feature, offering an easy installation method, commonly used in environments requiring flexible yet robust cabling. GYAXTC8Y: Figure-8 Self-supporting Uni-tube Aramid. A Figure-8 configuration, with Aramid yarn for strength, and self-supporting characteristics. GYFC8A-3U: 3-Unit FRP APL Figure-8 Self-supporting. A Figure-8 design with 3-unit FRP for additional strength and self-supporting capability, typically for rugged environments.
