Expanded PTFE Tape
Expanded PTFE tape made of pure PTFE can be widely used in the transport and sealing of industrial fluids. It is the most cost-effective alternative to sheet gasketing for large equipment flanges. Because it is a form-in-place gasket, it can be used on nearly any sealing surface. Expanded PTFE tape is particularly effective for irregular and damaged flange surfaces.

Applications
PTFE expanded tape is especially suited for sealing flange connections, pipe systems, hydraulic and pneumatic systems. It is also ideal for seals in glass, enamel and plastic flanges, vessels, and special shaped sealing surfaces.
PTFE expanded tape saves money and time. Since there is no scrap or waste, it costs less than other gasket materials. By using only a few sizes, large inventories of sheet gasketing and costly precut gaskets can be eliminated. Installation time is minimized since there are no templates, precutting, or special fitting requirements.
