Material Characteristics
The polyurethane elastomeric is a new polymer synthetic material between rubber and plastic, combining the high strength of plastic with the high elasticity of rubber. Key characteristics include:
- Wide hardness range (Shore A10-D80) while maintaining rubber-like elongation and resilience
- High strength with superior tensile strength, tear strength, and load carrying capacity compared to general rubber
- Excellent wear resistance (0.01-0.10cm³/1.61km), approximately 3-5 times better than rubber materials
- Oil resistant with low affinity for non-polar mineral oils
- Good resistance to oxygen and ozone
- Superior vibration absorption performance for damping and buffering applications
- Good low temperature performance
- High radiation resistance
- Excellent machining performance
