Purpose:
This machine is used to assess the tendency of all type of shoe upper materials such as leather, poromeric, fabrics, plastic-coated fabrics and upholstery coverings to crack or break as a result of flexing in wear.
Principle:
Double creases similar to those formed in the upper of a boot during wear are generated repeatedly in spcimens of polyurethane upper material by means of a suitable apparatus until cracking of the polyurethane upper material is observed or until the test pieces survive a specified umber of flexure cycles.
