1)Technical specifications This machine use for test durability of castor on table/chair and pedestal and must to fulfill minimum
needed as follow:
1.Specification BS EN 1730:2017
a.Platform
-Size : 1m (W) x 2m (L)
-Flooring: 25mm thick plywood
-2 pcs Steel strip(obstacle) fixed on the platform- size: 50 mm x 1000mm x 2mmm, edge radius 2mm,
fixed 500mm apart
b.Pneumatic cylinder
-Cylinders shall always be in horizontal position and adjustable
-Double acting with magnetic switch
-Stroke length : 1000mm
-Adjustable speed : 0.2 m/s
-Fixture to hold and move the test sample on the platform for 1m.
c.Control panel/console. The control panel is controlling the operation of cylinder. It consists of:
-Power supply: 240 Volts: 13 Amps: 50 Hz
-ON/OFF switch: To control electrical supply
-Electronic timer: the cylinder shall be run for 2 min and stop 2 min until the preset cycles completed
-6- digits Electronic Predetermine Counter (EPC)
The EPC will register every stroke of the cylinder up to six digits,

Will stop the test operation to the preset cycles,
The EPC will display the number of stroke achieved during the test,
EPC also able to store the number of cycles when the power interruption take place and able to display
the actual reading and continues counting when operation resume
Note: One stroke forward and backward is counted as one cycle

The signal shall maintain until the counter is reset
