Installation Requirements
DKC500AC/DKC800AC sliding gate opener is designed for gates weighing less than 500kg/800kg with sliding gate length less than 8m. The drive mode utilizes rack and gear transmission. This gate opener must be installed inside the enclosure or yard for protection.
Installation Procedures
Preparation Work
Ensure the sliding gate is correctly installed, the gate rail is horizontal, and the gate can be manually moved smoothly before installing the gate opener.
Cable Installation
Bury motor & power cable and controlling cable separately with two PVC tubes to guarantee normal operation and protect cables from damage.
Concrete Pedestal
Cast a concrete pedestal (400mm x 250mm, depth 200mm) in advance to firmly install the gate opener. Verify appropriate distance between gate and gate opener before casting the pedestal.
