Full height turnstiles are rugged, low-maintenance solutions designed for harsh outdoor conditions, providing effective deterrence against tailgating and unauthorized entry at perimeter fence lines. Originally developed for outdoor access control, SINOMATIC has continuously refined these turnstiles to meet diverse environmental requirements for both interior and exterior unmanned monitoring applications.
When perimeter protection is essential for facility security, full height turnstiles offer the ideal solution. These systems can be integrated with any access control system, token system, coin-operated entry system, or other external operating devices to regulate access through specific entrances and exits.
These straightforward full height turnstiles feature intuitive operation familiar to most users. The steel arms rotate in one or two directions, controlled by access control systems, motion detectors, push buttons, guard stations, reception desks, or combinations of these systems.
Main Functions & Features
- Rainproof housing with anti-corrosion coating, available in 304 or 316 stainless steel
- Mechanical drive unit with solenoid locking mechanism eliminates expensive electric motors and reduces maintenance costs
- Automatic rotation: if arm rotates more than halfway, it auto-rotates to next idle position; if less than halfway, it returns to current idle position
- Built-in adjustable tensioner controls rotation force to minimize over-rotation - requires only light pushing for operation
- Configurable as bi-directional or uni-directional operation
- Housing secured with special key to prevent tampering
- Innovative mounting surface ensures simple, convenient installation for system integrators
- Compatible with various access control devices: IC/ID card readers, barcode scanners, fingerprint scanners (access controller required)
- Automatic reset function cancels user authority if passage isn't completed within prescribed time (default: 5 seconds)
- Automatic regulated hydraulic buffer device ensures quiet, impact-free operation
