The retractable bollards are steel stainless columns installed in the ground, which through a control system are lowered and raised to allow passage or to limit the access of cars. 

Automatic retractable bollards can be positioned fully extended, or fully retracted below ground by control automatically, it can regulate traffic flow and control the number and types of vehicles that can enter specific roads, traffic gates, playgrounds, roadways, malls, parks, landscapes, pathways, and toll booths among many others . They help reduce traffic congestion and improve safety.

Automatic retractable bollards have the added advantage of being effective at bolstering existing security measures. Installing them in front of an access gate provides an additional layer of security and can reduce, or even eliminate the potential for vehicles to impact gates.
