FF46-1 0.75mm Loop Detector Traffic Inductive Coil Wire Cable
An inductive loop consists of wire wound in rectangular, square, or round shapes that are typically saw-cut into pavement. The wire ends connect to an enclosure housing a single-channel loop detector module. The detector powers the loop, creating a field around it and automatically tuning to a resonant frequency. The module monitors this frequency to detect vehicle presence in the loop area.
Installation Guidelines
Loop Detector and Boom Barrier Integration
  • Position the detector as close to the sensing loop as possible
  • Install detectors away from strong magnetic fields

Avoid running high voltage wires near loop detectors. Do not install detectors on vibrating objects. For connections exceeding 10 meters, use 2-core shielded cable. Maximum distance between control box and loop should not exceed 30 meters.
