Main Features
  • Reset Switch: Enables manual reset during commissioning and testing for loop re-tuning
  • Selectable Pulse Time: Configurable pulse relay duration of 1 second or 0.5 seconds
  • Pulse Relay Selection: Configurable to energize on vehicle detection or departure
  • Sensitivity Boost: Maximum sensitivity setting to prevent loss of high-bed vehicle detection
  • Switch Selectable Sensitivity: 4 sensitivity settings for flexible configuration
  • Switch Selectable Frequency: 4 frequency settings to prevent cross-talk between adjacent loops
  • Filter Option: Provides detection delay to prevent false detection of small or fast-moving objects
  • Permanent Presence Option: Maintains vehicle detection during extended parking periods
Operation and Indication
During tuning, both green Channel LED and red Power LED illuminate for approximately 2 seconds. The green LED turns off after tuning completion. Loop faults are indicated by flashing Channel LED. The green LED illuminates when a vehicle is detected passing over the inductive loop, while the red Power LED remains on to indicate power status.
Frequency Adjustment
Frequency can be altered to eliminate interference between neighboring wire loops or loop detectors.
Sensitivity Settings
Four sensitivity selections available, configured via DIP3 and DIP4 switches to control the inductance change required for output.
Automatic Sensitivity Boost
Enabled via DIP5 switch, this feature boosts sensitivity to maximum during vehicle detection and maintains this level while the vehicle remains over the loop.
Vehicle loop detector wiring diagram and DIP switch configuration
Filter Mode
Activated by setting DIP6 switch to "ON" position. This mode delays reaction time and reduces sensitivity to eliminate interference in challenging environments.
Important: If the detector isn't working normally, first check the loop and wiring, then adjust frequency or sensitivity settings. Finally, try activating filter mode if issues persist.
Output Relay Configuration
With DIP7 in "OFF" position, both relay1 and relay2 energize during vehicle detection and de-energize upon departure. With DIP7 "ON", relay2 energizes during detection while relay1 energizes for 500ms after a 500ms delay following vehicle departure.
Presence Time Settings
Presence time can be set to permanent presence or limited presence (10 minutes) via DIP8 switch configuration.
Reset Function
The detector automatically tunes to the connected inductive loop upon power application. Manual retuning can be initiated via the RESET switch after changing switch settings or moving the detector between installations.
