Installation Requirements
The SW400DC swing gate opener is designed for single leaf gates weighing less than 400kg with a length shorter than 4m. The drive mechanism utilizes worm and worm gear combined with screw rod transmission. This gate opener must be installed inside the enclosure or yard for protection.
Pre-Installation Preparation
Before installing the door opener:
- Confirm that the gate is installed correctly and operates smoothly manually
- Ensure the door limit stopper effectively prevents the door from over-traveling
- Maintain 40-50mm clearance between door bottom and ground for electric lock installation (20mm without electric lock)
- Mount main machines at 300-800mm above ground level with reliable fixed points for mounting brackets
