Installation Requirements
The DKC500DC/DKC800DC sliding gate opener is designed for gates weighing less than 500kg/800kg with sliding gate length less than 8m. The drive mode utilizes rack and gear transmission. This gate opener must be installed inside the enclosure or yard for protection.
Installation Procedures
Pre-Installation Preparation
Ensure the sliding gate is correctly installed, the gate rail is horizontal, and the gate can be manually moved smoothly before installing the gate opener.
Cable Installation
To guarantee normal operation and protect cables from damage, bury the motor & power cable and controlling cable separately using two PVC tubes.
Concrete Pedestal
Cast a concrete pedestal measuring 400mm x 250mm with a depth of 200mm in advance to firmly install the DKC500DC/DKC800DC gate opener. Ensure the distance between the gate and gate opener is appropriate before casting the pedestal.
