- Raw Water Treatment: Flocculant for sedimentation, thickening and suspended solids removal
- Sewage Water Treatment: Effective in acidophilic water systems, especially when combined with PAC or aluminum sulphate
- Industrial Wastewater Treatment: Reduces coagulant consumption and accelerates sedimentation
- Coal Mine Washing: Enhances centrifugal separation, sedimentation, and filtration of coal powder and coal mud
- Chemical Mudding Agent: Used for dike water plugging, ground foundation, and channel applications
- Paper-making Industry: Functions as fixing agent, residency agent, filtration aid, and paper reinforcement
- Sand Prevention Solidification: Dissolved at 0.3% concentration with cross-linking agent for desert spraying
- Sugar and Juice Mills: Facilitates flocculation, sedimentation, clarification and floatation processes
- Soil Humectants: Preserves water, solidifies sand, and supports slope grass planting and dust prevention
- Textile Industry: Improves sizing adhesive properties, penetrability, desizing performance, and electrostatic prevention
Typical dosage ranges from 0.2-3.0 ppm depending on effluent type and application. Conduct jar tests to determine optimal dosage for specific conditions.
Place effluent sample in beaker, add designated flocculant, agitate for 1 minute at 100-120 rpm, then slowly agitate at 60 rpm. Observe floc formation, sedimentation, and top solution clarity.
Dissolving Time: Approximately 1 hour with continuous agitation for complete dissolution
Agitation Speed: 200-400 rpm recommended (avoid high-speed agitation that may damage molecules)
Dissolving Concentration: Standard concentration of 0.1-0.5%
Wear appropriate personal protective equipment including splash goggles, lab coat, vapor respirator, gloves and boots. Immediately wash skin contact with water. For eye exposure, flush with fresh water and seek medical attention.
