Thermal resistance (thermal resistor) is most commonly used in alow temperature region. It is based on the characteristic of resistance is changing with increasing temperature for temperature measurement.

They normally work as a temperature sensor. They are used together with temperature displays and controls to detect and control the temperature of gas, liquid or solid surface. Thermal resistance contains temperature sensor, fixing parts and junction box.
