When a radio frequency signal is detected, the non-linear junction detector generates second and third harmonics.Semiconductor components will display higher grades on the 2nd harmonic.Corrosive semiconductor components will display higher grades on the 3rd harmonic.The non linear junction detector analyzes the 2nd and 3rd harmonics reflected from the target to ensure the rapid and reliable identification of electronic components and corrosive semiconductors.
