Brief introduction to several types of dust collectors:

According to the structure and arrangement of the dust removal equipment, the dust removal system can be divided into three types: independent dust removal unit, distributed mechanical dust removal system and centralized mechanical dust removal system.

1. Centralized mechanical dust removal system

When a plant or workshop, all or a lot of exhaust points, connected into a dust removal system, this system is called a centralized mechanical dust removal system. The air duct can be divided into two types: a branch type and a collecting tube type.

2. Independent dust collector

A dust removal device in which a blower, an electric motor, a dust collector and a part of connecting pipes are all installed in a single unit is called a separate dust removing unit. The dust removing device has the characteristics of compact structure, small size and high dust removal efficiency. It can be used for dust removal of packaging machines, reciprocating feeders, crushers and screening devices. The short pipes should be arranged on the side of the dust-dissipating equipment, and the purified gas can be directly discharged indoors.

3. Decentralized mechanical dust removal system In a workshop, a dust removal system that only connects 1-2 extraction points is called a decentralized mechanical dust removal system. In the powder processing workshop, when the local exhaust hoods are far apart or the dust-distributing equipments are not working at the same time and the materials processed by the dust-discharging equipment are different, it is reasonable to set up a decentralized dust-removing system. Simple, able to accommodate production conditions, dust removal effect is more reliable, and can be directly operated by production operators. However, dust collection and recycling by dust removal equipment is not as convenient and easy as centralized dust removal system.
