Key Design Features
- Minimum test block length: 200mm or 8T (whichever is larger)
- Slot spacing: Not less than T or 25mm between slots and ends
- Slot depth: 8-11% of material thickness (T)
- Slot width: ≤6mm with length ≥225mm
Application Guidelines
For materials with surface diameter greater than 500mm, use test blocks with matching workpiece curvature or standard test blocks with diameter ≤500mm.
Curved surface inspection requires tube seam test blocks with specific arc requirements:
- Inner diameter ≤100mm: Minimum 270° radian
- Inner diameter >100mm: Minimum arc length of 200mm or 3T (whichever is larger)
