ESTEL's ET4860-M3H21 is a 1U-high, 19-inch sub-rack power system engineered for bandwidth-critical applications like fiber optics, microwave backhaul, and access switching. Unlike conventional rectifier shelves, this unit accepts direct high-voltage photovoltaic input up to 63A/2P, eliminating the need for separate solar converters. Front-access terminals for both AC input and DC output allow installation against a wall or back-to-back with other equipment.

Despite its slim 1U profile, the system delivers 6kW at -53.5VDC using two hot-swappable 3kW rectifier modules in N+1 configuration. A single 100A/1PN breaker handles battery connection, while four 63A/1PN BLVD circuits feed critical loads directly — no LLVD shedding, no compromise. The system operates from 45Hz to 66Hz, ready for either 50Hz or 60Hz grids.

Key capabilities include programmable battery testing (scheduled, constant-current, or short-duration), one-click configuration upload for rapid site deployment, and an energy-saving standby mode that cuts rectifier idle losses. The controller scales from 1 to 40 rectifiers, making it equally suited for standalone cabinets and centralized power plants.
