ESTEL's ET4860-M3H21 is a 1U-high, 19-inch sub-rack power system engineered for bandwidth-critical applications like fiber optics, microwave backhaul, and access switching. Unlike conventional rectifier shelves, this unit accepts direct high-voltage photovoltaic input up to 63A/2P, eliminating the need for separate solar converters. Front-access terminals for both AC input and DC output allow installation against a wall or back-to-back with other equipment.

Despite its slim 1U profile, the system delivers 6kW at -53.5VDC using two hot-swappable 3kW rectifier modules in N+1 configuration. A single 100A/1PN breaker handles battery connection, while four 63A/1PN BLVD circuits feed critical loads directly — no LLVD shedding, no compromise. The system operates from 45Hz to 66Hz, ready for either 50Hz or 60Hz grids.

At the heart of this system is the MC2600 controller. Built around an ARM Cortex-M4 processor, the MC2600 brings enterprise-grade hybrid power management to compact form factors. It handles diesel generators, VRLA, lithium batteries, and solar modules from a single interface. Key capabilities include programmable battery testing (scheduled, constant-current, or short-duration), one-click configuration upload for rapid site deployment, and an energy-saving standby mode that cuts rectifier idle losses. The controller scales from 1 to 40 rectifiers, making it equally suited for standalone cabinets and centralized power plants.
