High Capacity 48V DC Telecom Rectifier Power System Modular MC2600 Smart Controller Integrated DC Distribution Designed for 5G Core Base Stations Data Center
Overview & Product Description
The IPU527K-A3C679 is an industrial-grade, high-capacity modular embedded telecom power system engineered to deliver uncompromised -48V DC power reliability for mission-critical communications infrastructure. Built around the advanced MC2900 intelligent control unit with a vibrant LCD color display, this chassis features up to 9 hot-swappable rectifier module bays (REC1 through REC9), enabling scalable power output and high-density redundancy.
The integrated DC distribution panel incorporates dual low-voltage disconnect protection (BLVD and LLVD) utilizing high-current circuit breakers (125A), an integrated AC power meter unit, heavy-duty silver-plated copper busbars, and comprehensive environmental/battery telemetry inputs (TEMP, ENV, DI/DO). With dual Ethernet RJ45 ports (RJ1/RJ2) supporting SNMP and web-based monitoring, this power system offers robust remote management, seamless integration, and optimal energy management for modern telecom sites.
Application Scenarios
5G/4G Central Office & Core Network Sites: Supplies high-current, ripple-free -48V DC power for dense baseband processing units (BBUs), core routers, and optical transmission equipment.
Large-Scale Data Centers & Telecom Hubs: Functions as a centralized or distributed -48V DC power supply system for enterprise networking racks and IT infrastructure.
Critical Industrial & Utility Power Systems: Ideal for smart power grid substations, railway control stations, oil & gas SCADA networks, and emergency backup power cabinets.
Hybrid Energy & Battery Storage Stations: Works seamlessly with multi-bank lead-acid or lithium-ion battery backups, using BLVD/LLVD logic to prolong battery operational life during extended utility outages.

Key Features
High-Density 9-Slot Modular Design: Supports up to 9 hot-swappable rectifier modules, allowing flexible N+1 or N+2 redundant configurations and easy field capacity expansion.
Advanced MC2900 Controller: Features a full-color LCD screen, key navigation, and real-time visual system diagnostics, fault logging, and system parameter adjustments.
Intelligent Dual-Stage Load Disconnect (BLVD & LLVD): Protects battery banks from deep discharge by shedding non-critical loads (LLVD) first and critical loads (BLVD) before total power exhaustion.
Integrated Energy Metering & Power Management: Includes built-in AC Metering modules to monitor real-time phase voltage, current, and total energy consumption without requiring external power meters.
Heavy-Duty High-Current Busbars: Solid copper busbar layout on the rear and top chassis ensures high thermal tolerance, low resistance, and maximum power delivery efficiency.
Comprehensive Remote Management: Supports SNMP protocols over dual Ethernet (RJ1/RJ2) and RS485 interfaces for multi-site centralized network control.
Operation Guide
Mechanical Mounting & Grounding:
Install the main cabinet into a standard 19-inch rack enclosure using side-mounting brackets.
Connect a heavy-gauge copper grounding wire to the main PE grounding lug before making any electrical connections.
Electrical Wiring (AC & DC Distribution):
Connect incoming 3-phase AC power (L1, L2, L3, N) to the labeled AC Input terminal block.
Attach high-capacity storage battery cables to the heavy-duty BAT+ and BAT- copper busbars, ensuring correct polarity.
Connect high-priority DC loads to the BLVD circuit breaker terminals (F1–F4) and standard loads to the LLVD circuit breaker terminals (F5–F8).
System Startup & Module Insertion:
Insert the required number of rectifier modules into slots REC1 through REC9 until fully seated and locked.
Turn ON the main AC power supply breaker.
Confirm that the MC2900 controller powers up, initializes properly, and displays system operational status without critical alarms.
Engage the DC distribution and battery breakers (F1–F8).
Network Configuration & Monitoring:
Connect an Ethernet cable to the RJ1 or LAN RJ45 port for network monitoring.
Configure the local IP address, subnet mask, SNMP traps, battery charge limits, and alarm parameters using the MC2900 front panel keypads (ESC, UP, DOWN, ENT) or via the web browser interface.
