This flashlight is mainly for emergency use. It could be activated by any liquid: coffee, milk, tea. The standard battery uses oxygen in the air as anode, magnesium alloy as cathode, brine as the electrolyte. The Oxidation-reduction reaction occurs between magnesium alloy and oxygen to produce electric energy. The reaction outcome( magnesium oxide) is insoluble in water. In conclution, this battery could produce electricity itself.

Immerse the battery part into the water or pour the water from the top to the bottom( the metal area needs to be dry when use) the battery is activated by water to provide power to the LED lamp holder.The battery is replaceable and the lamp cap can be recycled.
